Halesmead is an early‑19th‑century three‑bay house with an early‑20th‑century right‑hand extension by Lutyens, distinguished by six timber casements set just under the eaves and an interior moulded plaster ceiling.

Description
Halesmead, almost opposite [Wragg Castle Farm], has a three-bay early C19 front with a low early C20 r. extension by Edwin Lutyens, with a continuous run of six timber casements immediately beneath the eaves; interiour with a moulded plaster ceiling. (Verey D & Brooks A, 1999, p.561)
