Méaulte Military Cemetery
The battlefield cemetery, extended after the war and noted for its uniquely pink headstones, occupies a gently sloping roadside plot bounded by a height‑stepped brick wall, with an axial composition of southeast‑side Cross of Sacrifice, opposite brick‑wall seat with land tablets, cotoneaster bank, and stair‑and‑pier entrance flanked by small trees.

Description
After the war, this battlefield cemetery was extended with extra graves. Some headstones represent several graves. The light and dark pink colour of the headstones is unique. The cemetery lies on a gently sloping piece of ground along the road between the cornfields and is surrounded by a brick wall that follows the slope of the ground, with occasional jumps in height.
The Cross of Sacrifice stands on the southeast side, with a stone seat in front of a brick wall with the land tablets on the opposite side. An embankment with cotoneasters is situated on the west side. The entrance is formed by a stair- way and two brick piers with two posts in between. Two small trees flank the seat.
