The Liria Palace, badly damaged by fire in the Spanish Civil War, had its interiors redesigned by Lutyens, whose schemes were later executed in the 1950s by the local architect Cabañes.

Description

The Liria Palace was damaged by fire in the Civil War. Lutyens was commissioned to produce designs for rebuilding the interior. This work was carried out by a local architect, Cabañes, in the 1950s. (Amery et al, 1981, Cat no.186)
