The Inn is a well-crafted vernacular Devon building with thick walls, large chimneys, and heavy thatch, exemplifying traditional local construction, of which only the inn itself was realised.

Description

An abundantly satisfactory example of well-made and designed vernacular building with thick walls, fat chimneys, and heavy thatching, all typical Devon characteristics. Only the Inn was built. (Amery et al, 1981, Cat no.275)
