Lutyens’s c.1895 tombstone for Julia Jekyll, Gertrude Jekyll’s mother, is a moulded stone slab with a curved head bearing a relief cross with splayed arms and an inscription at the base.

Tombstone. Circa 1895 by Sir Edwin Lutyens. Commemorates Julia Jekyll, mother of Gertrude Jekyll, born 1813 died 1895. Moulded stone slab with curved top and cross in relief with splayed top and arms. Inscription at base. (Historic England, list entry 1389159)
